Your Impact

In this role, you will perform a range of operational duties in support of learning programs. Specific responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) organization and delivery of (on-demand, virtual, in-person) programs, project management, process improvement, and program modification, assessment of program impact, and data management/analysis. Examples of regular tasks include managing program venue logistics, identifying and coordinating with faculty, managing communication, monitoring budget and processing invoices, and tracking feedback through surveys.
In this role you will wear two hats, first one is regional responsibilities which include leading associate partners cohort. This includes developing AP-level colleagues cohort learning priorities and plans, defining learning objectives and needs, developing the learning calendar, and identifying channels to deliver the programs (e.g., Learning days, EEMA sessions, etc.). You will also work with the central AP learning team to ensure our programs are always using the latest knowledge and up to date on Firm approaches and materials for the cohort. Furthermore, you will work with the local office stakeholders to ensure every program is relevant and caters to local context and priorities.
In addition, you will be the upper tenure strategic lead and that includes reviewing the overall strategy and journey for TL transition to AP, and working closely with the TL cohort lead to integrate the learning journeys, experience and communications. You will also support the EEMA Learning Manager in the execution of the EEMA Regional Learning strategy, and contribute to EEMA Regional learning projects (e.g., program improvements/content updates, cross functional project teams with Firm Learning).
As for the second hat, you will have Africa Office responsibilities that includes supporting the Learning Manager in the design and rolling out of Personal Development Journeys for Africa Office, running for both Engagement Manager and Partner cohorts with external coaches, and taking the lead on all items related to delivery. You will also support the office and locations with local learning programming by being a thought partner on design and impact and enabling local teams to deliver local agendas by sharing best practice process and materials and collaborating closely to ensure a complimentary learning agenda to the regional and Firm ones that best manages shared resources.

Your Growth

As a Learning Specialist, you will support in the execution and rollout of the Regional Learning strategy within EEMA, East Europe, Middle East & Africa with a special focus on Africa. This is a full-time position in Learning.
You will work closely with the Regional Heads of Learning, the local office Director of People (or a seasoned Professional Development Manager), EEMA Consulting teams, and other people stakeholders in your local office location and across the region.
You will report to the Senior Manager of EEMA Learning function.

Your qualifications and skills

  • University degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in HR or Human Capital or People Development within a professional services firm
  • Passion for people development and learning
  • Experience in Learning, coaching or professional development
  • Great energy, drive, and entrepreneurship
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent organization capabilities, including the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion
  • Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, and listening) with groups of varying sizes and at all levels, strong influencing capabilities. Ability to connect/collaborate with Partners, Consultants, and other Firm Support colleagues; ability to build consensus
  • Strong problem–solving skills and the flexibility to deal with uncertainty and obstacles in a fast-paced and quick-changing environment
  • Experience and confidence using It-based systems and tools
  • Comfortable with numbers, analysis, and systems
