Your Impact
You will be based in one of our McKinsey offices, San Jose, Lisbon, or Prague. You will closely work with McKinsey engineers and long time hired professionals from external agencies across the world in our Development and Deployment Solutions group within the Tech Eco system.
You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for development, quality assurance, reliability, product management, and user experience of digital products and cloud platforms following the best industry practices.
You will engage with internal users and stakeholders and collaborate with other teams responsible for different parts of our tech platform such as design, security, development tooling and cloud infrastructure.
You will work with teams of product managers, technical leads and engineers to integrate their technical solutions and develop new features that improve both the security, usability and customer experience utilizing agile methodologies.
As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to all phases of product development from design to implementation to testing and documentation, including the opportunity to architect and design solutions, and to support application engineering teams that consume the solution.
You will also contribute to client onboarding efforts, support user requirements gathering, and lead major enhancements to the product.

Your qualifications and skills
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience
- Experience building and leveraging container-based technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
- Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code, automation tools and practices, hands-on experience with Terraform and related tooling
- Experience developing and managing code using programming and scripting languages such as Python, Golang, Bash
- Strong knowledge of security, logging, monitoring and performance of cloud-native and application architectures
- Experience with implementing security controls adhering to cloud security best practices
- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Github Actions, Circle CI, Jenkins,
- Experience working in distributed Agile teams, including active participation in sprint ceremonies
- Experience driving design and problem solving, engineering for complex integrations across cloud platforms
- Strong command of English (both verbal and written)
