Your Impact
Your Growth
- You will lead the development of a strategic and organized pipeline of in-person and virtual events, including institute-led convenings, firm-wide events, and external engagements.
- You will provide end-to-end support for McKinsey Health Institute (MHI) and McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) convenings, including marketing efforts, risk reviews and diligence, partnership agreements, attendee experience, and post-event follow-ups.
- You will orchestrate robust bilateral engagement and media engagement during global events, ensuring seamless collaboration with partners, senior partners, and engagement directors.
- You will advise event leads on best-in-class convening strategies and provide guidance on on-site engagement to maximize impact during conferences.
- You will equip MHI and MGI leaders with tools to strategically amplify their presence on social media and prepare effectively for speaking engagements.
- You will collaborate with institute teams to proactively pitch institute leaders to external convenors and manage knowledge partnerships to expand their reach and influence.
- You will contribute your expertise to global engagement campaigns for MHI and MGI, ensuring alignment with overarching goals and objectives.
- You will manage relationships with external vendors and select convening partners to ensure high-quality event execution and collaboration.
- You will drive participation analysis, track event impact, and coordinate stakeholder follow-ups to measure success and inform future strategies.
- You will create compelling digital assets after events to amplify key messages on social media and other communication platforms.
Your qualifications and skills
- University degree and excellent academic record required; advanced degree preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and to facilitate collaboration across operations, communications, working teams and the McKinsey partnership
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to different audiences
- Ability to communicate effectively - both verbally and in writing - in English as well as the local office language
- Stellar project management skills and the ability to manage many moving pieces in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working across teams and stakeholder groups on a shared initiative of global interest
- Keen understanding of McKinsey’s risk guardrails and protocols
- Substantial experience working directly on digital and in-person events
- Marketing, social media, and media relations experience
- Affinity for health and economics – and driving global social & economic impact

For new joiners for this role in Canada and/or the United States, including all office locations where the job may be performed, a reasonable estimated range is $159,200 - $212,100 in USD and $153,000 - $204,000 in CAD — to help you understand what you can expect. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest salary for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
