Role Description

Help us support our clients in identifying, assessing and recruiting the best leadership talent for their organizations.

We are looking for a Research Intern to be a member of our global research team. He/she will be involved in a wide variety of activities including knowledge management and supporting consultants with many of the components of the search process.

This paid, full-time internship in our Zürich office will last for 6 months, upon agreement. Starting date ideally ASAP, but negotiable (July, August or September 2024).

Typical tasks include:

  • Conduct background research to deliver value added market and client knowledge (e.g. industry mappings).
  • Produce comprehensive reports, which detail the relevant target companies, possible market sources and candidates for an assignment; prepare presentations for client pitches.
  • Utilize online and proprietary database search engines to identify high quality candidates.
  • Support consultants with data to facilitate the creation of intellectual property in the form of surveys, white papers and other information that will enhance RRA’s position in the market.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a respected institution.
  • First experience in a business environment is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills, particularly the ability to interact credibly with individuals from all levels of an organisation.
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to produce succinct, relevant documentation for clients.
  • Highly organised – developed time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English and ideally in German (office language).
