Position
Tyton Partner’s Investment Banking practice is looking for a Vice President to support senior bankers. The firm provides an excellent opportunity to gain an expansive breadth of hands-on experience across all aspects of various deals and transactions. The prospective candidate will manage and execute deals and prepare presentation materials to communicate their ideas and findings to clients. Specific duties will include overseeing junior resources in financial modeling, valuation analysis, client presentations, and market research. You will be expected to lead client diligence sessions, read definitive agreements and other transaction related documents and represent the firm as a mid-level banker. We would expect for you to develop into a senior banker with a leadership position within the firm.
A Vice President’s primary responsibilities include:
- Providing lead support and direction on prospective and live transactions;
- Leveraging the team’s domain expertise in education and global knowledge sector to ensure accurate execution of team projects;
- Presenting to clients and prospects;
- Executing all phases of M&A and potential capital raising activities;
- Interacting and leading with management of clients, corporate development teams of strategic acquirers and financial sponsors;
- Perform financial, business and market analysis with a special emphasis on reformatting financial statements and benchmarking key performance metrics;
- Leading research initiatives of industry, individual clients and prospects;
- Providing direction, coaching and management of the junior team of Analysts and Associates;

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with a top tier boutique or bulge bracket investment bank - Please submit deal sheet with resume (Corporate Finance/M&A, Restructuring, and Leveraged Finance backgrounds)
- Undergraduate degree from a prestigious four-year university with a record of academic achievement
- MBA is preferred but not required
- Significant experience managing deals through the entire execution phase is critical
- Strong client management skills required
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, a team player, organized and thorough
- Ability to work well within a tight-knit team, and exercise judgment in effectively carrying out one’s duties
