Unity is seeking a dedicated and motivated Integration Engineer to join our Enterprise Tech team. As an Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless interoperability between our software applications, systems, and third-party services. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, quality assurance, and project managers to design, implement, and optimize integration solutions.

The Lead Integration Engineer will design, develope, and managing integration solutions that enable flawless communication and data exchange between various systems and applications in Finance, People, Legal and GTM Teams. Direct a team of integration engineers, collaborate with multi-functional teams, and contribute to the overall success of our projects!

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and implement integration strategies to meet the business objectives and ensure efficient data flow between systems.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of integration engineers, encouraging collaboration and innovation to ensure the quality and reliability of integration solutions through testing and validation processes. Collaborate with partners to understand requirements and design robust integration solutions, taking into account scalability, security, and performance.
• Hands-on involvement in developing and configuring integration solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies. Diagnose and resolve complex integration issues and provide technical support to the team. Ensure that integration solutions adhere to security and compliance standards, including data privacy regulations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to find opportunities for improvement in integration processes and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure integration best practices and coding standards are upheld.

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Strong proficiency in integration tools and technologies (e.g., API, ETL, middleware, Node.js, Java or Python etc.
• Worked with integration tools (e.g., Workato, MuleSoft, Workday EIB / Studio) and showcased strong troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines a plus; cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) experience desirable.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Project management experience is a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g., Workato, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, GCP or AWS) are advantageous.
