Position Summary

The Affiliate Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for assisting in managing affiliate and direct mail campaigns at WGU. The Affiliate Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Digital Media Manager to provide support for the affiliate and direct mail channels, including onboarding new affiliate vendors, assisting vendor/channel reporting, and tracking vendor performance against channel KPI’s and goals.

The Affiliate Digital Marketing Specialist will have at least 1-2 years of hands-on marketing experience with a track record of achieving excellent results in highly competitive markets by leveraging their advanced marketing skillsets.

Favored candidates will possess a strong understanding of all areas considered marketing, a strong analytical/reporting background, strong attention to detail, with media buying experience as a plus.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for onboarding new affiliate vendors, including creating tracking, validating test leads, and gathering vendor creative.
  • Responsible for adhoc vendor reporting: Adobe, Tableau, LeadConduit and Salesforce systems
    • Work cross-functionally to fulfill reporting requests as needed
  • Assist in report building, report development, data analysis and reviewing analytics for affiliate and direct mail channels
  • Responsible for researching new vendor opportunities and initial vendor vetting
  • Responsible for day-to-day campaign tracking
  • Assist in additional tasks as assigned by the Digital Media Manager

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrate experience and knowledge in integrated marketing campaigns to meet department KPI’s
  • A self-starter that can get the job done without constant supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Data, analytics, and developing reports should be exciting to you.
  • Extremely organized when dealing with a large number of ongoing projects or tasks.
  • Excellent communicator; able to thoughtfully prepare and present reports to other team members, and Sr. Leadership.
  • Media buying experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years digital marketing experience across display, video, search, social, affiliate and/or remarketing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe Analytics experience

The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Pay Range: $58,000.00 - $87,000.00
