Job Summary:
Western Governors University is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Join our Machine Learning team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain AI-driven applications. You’ll collaborate closely with Machine Learning Engineers to integrate models into user-friendly solutions. This role spans the entire software development lifecycle, from architecture and coding to testing and deployment, with a focus on performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deploy AI-driven applications across front-end and back-end systems.
Lead system architecture and design, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Build CI/CD pipelines and maintain robust testing frameworks.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues in applications and infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models and data pipelines.
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of full-stack development experience, including 3+ years on ML/AI projects.
Expertise in front-end (React, JavaScript) and back-end (Python, Flask, REST APIs) technologies.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
