WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) Educator delivers live and online review products to practicing NPs and students preparing for success on the NP Certification exam. The role contributes to ongoing product development of the APEA NP Review Course, NP resources, and Clinical Update product experience for clients. This role provides ongoing NP industry thought leadership both internal and external.

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

This position will work remote in the United States with travel up to 60% of the time.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

• Building exceptional client relationships while delivering live and online NP education
• Participation with developing and completing products and product updates that enhance and grow product lines to support the delivery of quality NP education
• Working both as an individual contributor and with a team of NP educators to facilitate mentorship, evaluation, and preparation to deliver live and online reviews to practicing NPs and NP students.
• Professional verbal and written communication with clients to enhance their product understanding and deliver exceptional client support
• Provide quality live and online NP education remediation guidance to schools/students who are unsuccessful on the NP certification exam as indicated
• Facilitate analytical review of outcomes to university clients focused on outcomes and continuing quality improvement
• As an NP industry leader, create and deliver presentations for groups at ATI as well as NP clients and related professional organizations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Master’s Degree in Nursing required, doctorate preferred
• Certification as an FNP by ANCC or AANP required
• Three years-experience as an NP preceptor; or educator teaching in live and online NP program
• Current Nursing licensure, certification in good standing required
• Experience with NP treatment of chronic illness and prescribing preferred
• Proficient in current knowledge of issues and trends in NP nursing practice and nursing education
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
• High-level presentation skills and comfort with public speaking
• Proficient in summarizing information and providing detailed instruction
• Ability to incorporate principles of adult learning
• Collaborate with a variety of individuals to deliver quality services, promote client satisfaction, and secure new business
• High level of accountability to team and clients
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Flexible and highly adaptable to a non-traditional role of nurse educator in the business environment
• Technologically competent with PowerPoint, Zoom, MS Word, MS Excel and presentation platforms.
